Local Non-Profit Humanim Once Again Receives National Certification for its Services
Humanim is pleased to announce that it has received a three year accreditation for housing, employment, case management, and rehabilitation programs/services from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Since its initial accreditation in 1994, every three years Humanim undergoes a comprehensive accreditation review under CARF.
CARF provides accreditation services worldwide at the request of health and human service providers. CARF is an independent, nonprofit organization focused on advancing the quality of services provided to achieve the best possible outcomes. CARF accreditation signals a service provider's commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community.
According to the final report recently issued by CARF, “Humanim demonstrates a continued commitment to the principles incorporated in the CARF standards. The organization’s leadership has deftly met and overcome the challenges inherent in the recent and continued recession climate. The staff members exhibit enthusiasm and a high degree of pride and satisfaction in their work.”
Humanim President and CEO Henry Posko commented, “Reaccreditation by CARF serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication shown by every member of the Humanim team as they seek to provide exceptional service to each of our diverse clients.”
