Yogurt Fans Welcome Müller Yogurt to Baltimore
Baltimore welcomes a new yogurt to town, and it’s a totally new taste never before enjoyed on this side of the pond. Müller yogurt – originally a popular yogurt in Europe - is hitting shelves at local grocery stores in order to provide residents with a unique way to enjoy the nutritional benefits of yogurt.
Müller Dairy was originally founded in 1896 by German dairy farmer Ludwig Müller. Today his grandson, Theo Müller, runs the business and the yogurt is now available in the U.S., thanks to Muller Quaker Dairy, a joint venture between PepsiCo, Inc. and the Theo Müller Group.
All Müller yogurt is made from reduced-fat milk and all varieties are a good source of calcium and protein. They offer consumers a rich and creamy dairy experience with a variety of new products:
- Müller FrütUp yogurt is a brand new way to enjoy parfait-style yogurt with a light, airy fruit mousse on top. It comes in six flavors, including Radiant Raspberry, Very Cherry and Luscious Lemon.
- Müller Corner has a two-chamber cup that includes creamy yogurt in one chamber and delicious mix-ins like fruit, caramelized almonds, crunchy cereal and chocolate in the other. There are ten varieties of Müller Corner including Strawberry, Blueberry and Crunchy Granola.
- Müller Greek Corner also comes in an exclusive two-chamber container, featuring slightly sweetened low-fat, Greek-style yogurt with delicious fruit or nut mix-ins. It has a mild, non-tart taste, and a full-bodied texture with superior creaminess. Flavors include Caramelized Almonds and Honeyed Apricot among others.
Müller products are currently being sold across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, and can be found at local Safeway stores in Baltimore.
