3 Residents Robbed at Gunpoint in Remington

One of the people tried to run and was hit in the head.

Three people were walking along Remington Avenue when they were robbed and one person attacked.

The residents were walking at 1 a.m. on Saturday, in the 3100 block of Remington Avenue, when they were approached by three robbers, and one of them pulled out a silver handgun, according to a police report.

The robbers then took a woman’s purse, a man’s cash and demanded another man’s money. The man then tried to run but the robbers caught him and hit him in the head.

The robbers then ran off northbound.

So what did these animals look like?...it would be nice to have a detailed description in order to bring these animals to justice (if you do things like this you are no longer human and belong in a cage by my account). I bet they live over around Greenmount, that's where almost all of Remington's real problems reside (drug dealers and trouble makers like to come to Remington because they don't have the balls to be little ghetto criminals in their own hood)

The part one crime reports this article is pulled from doesn't include a detailed description of the robbers.

There are usual Remington characters... the white guy with one leg and a tear drop tattoo that steals airconditioners (caught many times, alway let out of jail the next day)...don't ask me how he does it with only 1 leg, the mostly black but a few white ones too drug dealers on Miles and 27th Street in white shirts and ride bikes and loiter on people's steps, who actually live over near Greenmount Avenue, the thin little blonde junkie, or the mixed race but mostly white gutter punk kids who like to spray paint cars and vandalize peoples stuff in a fit of rage at 3AM...is it one of these folks? ...or do we have a new kid on the block?

to the commentor above, HOW DARE YOU!!! you obviously know NOTHING about the lady at that address or the owner of Long Johns, both have been part of Remington for over 55 years and have given sooo much back to Remington... The lady may be an addict but she does not willing let people sell drugs off her stoop, she is a loving mother and grandmother and has many health issues unrelated to drugs and in her healthier years has given back and volunteered many hours to Remington when her own children were younger.. How dare you post her address, how about you post yours!!!! If any repercussion comes to her from YOU posting her address I assure this website will be held responsibile!!! As for the owner of Long Johns, ONCE AGAIN!! you know nothing of what you speak!!! he has always given back to the community but he does it in privacy and taking care of the elderly at Thanksgiving and Christmas, giving them Giant gift cards among other things to help them out.....what have you done other then come on here and complain about 2 people you obviously know nothing about!!!
