Gansler could not be trusted to try the Beltway Muslim snipers years ago so they were tried in Virginia first where they still use the death penalty. Gansler agreed to a plea deal for Malvo who shot and killed random people only going about their daily business. Why a plea deal by Gansler when the pair had already been convicted in Virginia and John Allen Muhammad had already been sentenced to death?
