Residents can now review weekly crime statistics for each district at Open Baltimore.
Baltimore residents now have the ability to access crime statistics via the Internet.
Starting Wednesday, Baltimore City police began posting crimestat figures online on the Open Baltimore website.
The reports will be updated weekly, and will include figures for each district, so residents can get an idea of the crime trends happening in their neighborhoods.
The police began posting crimestat figures after Councilman Brandon Scott requested the statistics be posted online earlier this year.
