Burglar Steals Sympathy Cards, Car

The burglar stole the items from a Tuscany-Canterbury home on July 2.

A burglar broke into a house, stole sympathy cards, the resident's keys and her car in Tuscany-Canterbury.

The burglar entered a home in the 4200 block of Tuscany Court between 3:50 and 4:15 a.m. on Monday through a side dining room window, according to a police report.

Once inside the house, the burglar took the cards, cash and the key to a 2004 Toyota Matrix. The burglar then left through a backdoor and a witness saw the thief drive off in the resident’s car.
