A car driven by a robber trying to make off with a carton of cigarettes stolen from the CVS on Falls Road hit a clerk.
According to a police report, at 12:30 a.m., Oct. 24 in the 4600 block of Falls Road, a robber took a carton of Newport cigarettes, valued at $64.44, and ran out of the store without paying.
The clerk chased the suspect out of the store and was hit by the car as it was driving away.
