Councilwoman's Home Burglarized

The Cold Spring home of Councilwoman Sharon Green Middleton was burglarized between Friday night and Saturday morning.

Councilwoman Sharon Green Middleton was the victim of a burglary between Friday night and Saturday morning.

According to a police report, Middleton’s home in the 5100 block of Yellowwood Drive, in the Cold Spring neighborhood, was broken into after the basement door glass was shattered. 

The burglar stole various CDs before leaving the house.

Middleton, who represents Roland Park and Cross Keys, in North Baltimore, isn’t the only public official to fall victim to a crime in recent memory.

In January, a thief tried to owned by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and her husband Kent Blake, who also live in the Cold Spring neighborhood.

But an officer working on the mayor’s protective detail spotted a man trying to break into the 2001 Infiniti. The burglar was arrested.
