CRIME: Man Maced by Transgendered Male

Charles Village

St. Paul Street, 2300 block, 1:23 a.m., Aug. 30. A man asked a transgender male to stop soliciting sex in front of his building. The transgender man then allegedly sprayed the man in his face with Mace and fled west on 24th Street. Responding officers arrested the transgender male.

Hampden

Falls Road, 4200 block, 12:32 a.m., Aug 29. A would-be burglar broke the glass front doors of the Carroll Fuel gas station, and entered the building. The burglar was confronted by an employee and then fled back through the broken front doors. Responding police found and arrested the alleged burglar on Falls Road.

West 40th Street, 700 block, 9:28 p.m., Aug 28. Two suspects—one armed with a gun—approached a man and woman and demanded property. The man and woman complied and were forced to lie on the ground as suspects fled. 

Roland Avenue, 3600 block, 9:30 p.m., Aug. 30.  A man accused another man of “hitting” on his girlfriend. He then pulled out a knife and threatened the man. A responding officer arrested the man who allegedly pulled out the knife.

Bellona-Gittings

East Lake Avenue, 100 block, noon, Aug. 29. A suspect was fleeing Baltimore County police when he or she bailed out of the vehicle and entered an unlocked home in Baltimore City. Officers located the suspect in the home and made an arrest.

Roland Park

Falls Road, 4600 block, 6:50 p.m., Aug. 29. Suspects entered a private office that customers are not allowed access to, and removed $1,095 from an open safe. The incident was caught on surveillance camera.

Abell

Greenmount Avenue, 3100 block, 1:52 p.m., Aug. 31. Suspects entered M and J Clothing and one of them showed a handgun and said to an employee, “Give me your money” and “I’m a kill you.” The employee began to struggle with the suspect when another suspect began hitting the employee. All suspects then grabbed money and clothes and ran.   

Greenmount Avenue, 2900 block, 4:30 p.m., Sept. 1. Suspects approached a man from behind and said, “Think you’re tough? Give me your shoes.” One suspect implied he had a knife and told the man, “Give me your shoes or you could be killed.” The man then gave the suspects his shoes and they ran from the scene.
