UPDATE (2:24 p.m.) — A fire damaged the Mt. Washington Tavern before dawn on Monday morning.
At about 4:45 a.m. The Baltimore City Fire Department received a report of the fire, according to a fire department spokesman. The two alarm blaze has been knocked down, and the fire department is still investigating the cause.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire.
By Monday afternoon police were allowing traffic turn onto Kelly Avenue from Falls Road. Onlt the village portion of Sulgrave Avenue and Newbury Street remained closed to traffic.

I hope all the displaced workers find some temp work. As far as rebuilding goes, would love to see the bar portion open back up. But not the food so much. Horrible food there.
