The first crime statistics of the new year are available, and although its too early to draw comparison, residents in North Baltimore will be keeping a close eye on the number of homicides in the after 2012 saw a sharp spike in murders.
Residents may track weekly crime statistics, called Comstat, at the Open Baltimore website.
