Baltimore's Inner Harbor is the place to be this week as Star-Spangled 200, a commemoration of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812, kicks off with an international parade of tall ships and other vessels.

Star-Spangled Sailabration 2012, a week-long event organized by the U.S. Navy and Operation Sail in partnership with the State of Maryland and City of Baltimore, will run through June 19.

The Sailabration will feature free public tours of participating ships, including U.S., British and Canadian naval vessels, waterside festivities and an air show featuring the Blue Angels, according to Sailabration literature.

The ships will be docked in the Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Locust Point.

The outbound Parade of Sail is scheduled for June 19.

Check Star-Spangled 200's website for the most up-to-date schedule and event details.

The Blue Angles have been streaking all across the skies above Southwest Baltimore for two days now...here come some now...there they go. I rush out to see them but they are gone everytime.
