Hampden Elementary Hosts Volunteer Orientation

Volunteers skills involve being able to say "no" to puppy dog eyes.

Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer at Hampden Elementary School?

There are two volunteer orientation sessions being held at 10 a.m. and noon on Friday at Hampden Elementary/Middle School, 3608 Chestnut Ave.

According to a poster for the event posted on Re:education in Baltimore, volunteers should have strong observation skills, the ability to tune out loud noises, experience working with bologna and the ability to say “no” to puppy dog faces.

Interested residents should also bring a photo ID.
