In My Room: Baltimore Review Is Accepting Contest Entries

The journal of poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction is back and accepting submissions.

The Baltimore Review—edited by Barbara Westwood Diehl and Kathleen Hellen—is now accepting submissions in short fiction, poetry and creative nonfiction for their February 2012 online issue.

The theme of the contest is the word "room."

What verse or prose that word sparks is up to you as long it is an "integral part" of your submission, according to contest rules.

The top three entries of all submissions will win prizes of $300, $200 and $100 respectively.

Each entry must be accompanied by a $10 reading fee. Work should also include a brief author bio, but no names should appear on manuscripts. Judging will be blind.

For a full list of contest rules—and to better familiarize yourself with the journal—consult the Baltimore Review website.
