Jiffy Lube Robbed, Owner Pistol Whipped

The robber made off with an unknown amount of money.

 

The owner of a local Jiffy Lube was hit with a pistol when his store wwas being robbed.

According to a police report, a robber entered the store through a bay door carryig a pistol on Oct. 2 at 2:37 p.m. in the 2900 block of Matthews Street, and demanded the owner come over.

When the owner complied the robber struck him in the head with a gun.

The robber then told the owner to: "Give me the money."

The owner handed an unknown amount of cash and the robber ran from the store.

That's so ignorant, messing with the small business owners in the area. I hope they find this guy. Is it the same guy as the other robberies in the area? If it is, this guy is getting brassen in this style and it's only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt or worse. Thank you BCPD for not releasing any useful information on the perp(s), I think they don't want to catch him because he/she/them will just be put back out on the streets (why bother?)

Hey BCPD, maybe if you don't do anything about the uptick in crime, we the peope will have to get together and do something about it. Does the BCPD really want vigilantes running the street? If not, release the information regarding the description of perps so the public will work with you and not have to create our own force to maintain order.
