Don’t let the geography mix you up too much, but Live Baltimore’s Buying Into Baltimore West program will be promoting some North Baltimore neighborhoods.
Confused? Don’t over think it.
Live Baltimore, which promotes city living, will be hosting several Pop Up events, that feature self-guided walking tours, Live Near Your Work Incentive sessions and 5 Neighborhood, 5 Minutes presentations, according to its website.
The Pop Up events are a brand new attempt by Live Baltimore to go into the neighborhoods and help expose people interested in Baltimore with particular communities, and give neighborhoods a chance to market themselves.
"Our goal is to breakdown the big home buying experience from a city level down to a neighborhood level," said Live Baltimore Executive Director Steven Gondol. "We found that when it comes down to buying a home it’s all about the neighborhood."
Live Baltimore will be closing its downtown offices from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the day of the Pop Up events to work in the neighborhoods they’re promoting.
“We’re really trying to make sure it’s a very information packed event in a low key neighborhood setting,” Gondol said.
Here are the Pop Up events scheduled in North Baltimore:
- On April 18, at 2906 Keswick Ave., the organization will host a Pop Up event for the Hampden, Medfield, Remington, Reservoir Hill and Wyman Park neighborhoods.
- On April 25, at 5717 Jonquil Ave., there will be a Pop Up event for the Cheswolde, Cross Country, Fallstaff, Glen and Mount Washington neighborhoods.
