Well this makes sense.
A Baltimore athletic apparel company will be outfitting a Baltimore university's athletic department.
The University of Loyola Maryland announced Thursday that Baltimore based Under Armour will become the “official outfitter” of the Greyhounds in 2012-2013, according to a news release.
Under Armour will now provide on field training gear for the university’s 17 varsity sports, as well as clothes for coaches and staff.
“Under Armour takes pride not only in being a leader in the industry, but also in the Baltimore and Maryland areas. We believe that is an important part, too, of this agreement, as we work closely with many businesses in our backyard." Loyola Assistant Vice President/Director of Athletics Jim Paquette said in the release.
