Man Hires Locksmith, Breaks Into Ex-Wife's Home, Police Say
Ramon Aparece Jr. is being held without bail.
A Waverly man was arrested earlier this month for breaking into his ex-wife's apartment.
Police say Ramon Melicor Aparece Jr., 42, of the 600 block of East 37th Street, hired a locksmith to enter his ex-wife's home in the 1000 block of West Lake Avenue in Lake Falls, just north of the city-county line.
After the locksmith opened the rear door, Aparece entered the home, according to a police report. He damaged a safe and took a diamond ring and watch, the report said.
Aparece was arrested Tuesday, July 17, and charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, theft and destruction of property. He is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
