Man Robbed at Knifepoint in Old Goucher

A man was robbed in the 2300 block of N. Charles Street.

 

A man was assaulted and robbed of $80 at knifepoint in Old Goucher.

The man was walking at 6:30 a.m., Dec. 2 in the 2300 block of N. Charles Street when a robber began assaulting him.

The robber then pulled out a knife and stole the man's cash and ran east on 23rd Street.

The man refused medical treatment at the scene.

This further qualifies the need for the additional Off-duty policemen to be posted throughout the entire area that the residents of Charles Village were promised prior to agreeing to the creation of the "Benefits District". We must have these additional police in the community in order to protect the residents. According to David Hill of the Benefits District JHU was supposed to give them $1,000,000. for the additional security that could be in place now, where is it and when is it coming?
