A man was pistol whipped and robbed while walking back to his home in Coldspring.

According to a police report, the man was walking to his doorstep at 11:10 p.m., of Thursday in the 2300 block of Flax Terrace, when a robber approached carrying a handgun and said, “give me everything you’ve got.”

The robber then smacked the man across his face with the gun and stole $5.

The robber then discharged the gun at the ground but it only made a small noise which indicated it may nor be a real gun.

The man then fought back against the robber who then ran away.
