Man Stabbed During Robbery

The robber escaped with a wallet containing $52.

A man was stabbed during an armed robbery in the Wilson Park neighborhood.

At 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, a man was walking in the 500 block of East 43rd Street when he was approached by a robber who demanded his property, according to a police report.

The robber implied he had a handgun but the man told him to get out of his way. The robber then pulled out a knife and said "I’m not [expletive] playing."

A struggle ensued and the man was stabbed in his arm. He dropped his wallet containing $52 the robber picked it up and ran.
