Baltimore City police are investigating a robbery in Roland Park on Tuesday night.

At about 8 p.m. two women were getting into a vehicle in the 4800 block of Roland Avenue when a man demanded their purses and threatened to shoot them, according to a news release.

He then took one woman’s purse and tried unsuccessfully to take the second woman’s purse before running away.
