Mayor Announces Food Truck Zones

The pilot program will allow food trucks to continue to operate.

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake announced the city is launching a pilot program that creates specialized food truck zones.

The Department of Transportation will be adding signs indicating areas reserved for food trucks to operate.

In May, city officials told some food trucks they were operating in violation of city law and were in danger of being shut down.
