Medfield Man Robbed at Gunpoint, Keeps Wallet

The robbers made off with $45.

Robbers allowed a man to keep his wallet after he pleaded with them not to take his billfold.

According to police, at 10:50 p.m., Feb. 7, a man was in the 1200 block of 42nd Street when robbers brandishing a handgun approached him.

The man pleaded with the robbers to be able to keep his wallet.

A robber then made a compromise and told the man: "Just give us the cash, yo."

The man handed over $45 and the robbers ran away headed east on 42nd Street.
