North Baltimore Crime: 3 Robbed on University Parkway

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

East University Parkway, 300 block, 8:25 p.m., Oct. 22. Three robbers approached two men and a woman. One of the robbers said, “Get on the ground or I will shoot you [expletive].” They complied and the robbers went through their pockets and took their property. The robbers then ran off in the direction of 33rd Street.

Evesham Avenue, 400 block, 2 a.m., Oct. 16. A robber approached a man and said, “Give me $5.” The man told the robber he didn’t have any money and the robber responded, “Don’t make me pull out my gun.” At that point, the man ran in one direction and the robber ran off in the other.

Benninghaus Road, 800 block, 12:20 a.m., Oct. 17. Robbers approached a man, pulled his shirt over his head and began punching and kicking him. The robbers then took the man’s wallet and ran away.

Better Waverly

Homestead Street, 700 block, 5:31 p.m., Oct. 16. A man was found lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Homeland

York Road, 5400 block, 5 p.m., Oct. 19. A would-be robber walked to the counter at Dunkin Donuts and said, “Give me all the money.” When the cashier hesitated, he ran out of the store.

Abell

Barclay Street, 3000 block, 6:20 p.m., Oct 21. A robber approached a woman from behind, put her in a headlock and pulled her into an alley. She offered the robber money and he said, “Just give me the wallet. You don’t want me to shoot you, do you?”  The robber took the woman’s wallet and ran away.
