North Baltimore Crime: 5 Government Cellphones Swiped from Sleeping Woman
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.
Larceny from Auto: 3000 block of Frisby Street, between 10 p.m., Nov. 26 and 5:50 a.m., Nov. 27. A Garmin GPS was stolen from an unlocked 2007 Mitsubishi.
Stolen Auto: 400 block of E. Lake Avenue, between 11 p.m., Nov. 26 and 3:45 a.m., Nov. 27. A green 1998 Plymouth Voyager was stolen.
Larceny from Auto: 100 block of W. 27th Street, between 1 and 7 p.m., No. 25. The window of a 2007 Nissan was broken and a Garmin GPS, a wallet and $200 cash were stolen.
Burglary Residential: 100 block of W. 25th Street, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Nov. 25. A burglar stole a rubber chest containing a passport, $700 and a marriage certificate.
Larceny from Auto: 3100 block of Guilford Avenue, between 2 p.m., Nov. 25 and 3:30 p.m., Nov. 26. A Garmin GPS and $200 were stolen from a black 2008 GMC Canyon.
Larceny from Auto: unit block of W. University Parkway, between 9:45 and 10:15 p.m., Nov. 30. A MacBook Pro and a Dell laptop were stolen from a silver 2004 Volkswagen Jetta.
Larceny Other: 3000 block of Chestnut Avenue, between 7 and 10:30 p.m., Nov. 25. A tote bag, $50 and a wallet were stolen from the front desk of a Yoga studio.
Larceny Other: 1000 block of W. 36th Street, 3:30 p.m., Nov. 27. Someone stole a woman’s cell phone off the counter at her job.
Burglary Residential: 1300 block of Morling Avenue, between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Nov. 28. A burglar entered the home and stole coins and jewelry.
Larceny Other: 1200 block of Dellwood Avenue, between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m., Nov. 29. A Federal Express package was stolen off the porch.
Larceny Other: 3500 block of Chestnut Avenue, 12:30 p.m., Nov. 29. A wallet and credit cards were stolen from a woman’s purse after she left it unattended in a deli.
Larceny from Auto: 1500 Mill Race Road, between midnight and 10 a.m., Nov. 29. A wallet containing $400, credit cards, license and Social Security card was stolen from an unlocked 1999 Mazda.
Stolen Auto: 300 block of Whitridge Avenue, between 1:30 and 5:50 a.m., Nov. 25. A gray 1988 Oldsmobile Delta was stolen.
Burglary Residential: 4600 block of Kernwood Avenue, between 6:50 a.m. and 2:55 p.m., Nov 27. The son of the resident’s ex-boyfriend forced open a basement window and stole $20. The resident’s son came home and found the ex-boyfriend’s son in the house. The ex-boyfriend’s son then ran out the rear of the house.
Burglary Residential: 400 block of Calvin Avenue, between 3:45 and 4:15 p.m., Nov. 28. A burglar entered a home through a second floor window, damaged the security system keypad and stole the resident’s jewelry.
Larceny from Auto: 300 block of Birkwood Place, between 6:30 and 10:29 p.m., Nov. 29. A MacBook, cover and charger were stolen from an unlocked 2002 Hyundai.
Larceny Other: 4100 block of Old York Road, between 7:30 p.m., Nov. 26 and 2:30 a.m., Nov. 27. Someone stole five government issued cell phones from a woman’s bedroom while she was sleeping.
Larceny from Auto: 400 block of W. 26th Street, between 11 p.m., Nov. 29 and 10:30 a.m., Nov. 30. A Magellan GPS, stereo and motorcycle dolly were stolen from a truck.
Larceny from Auto: 5000 block of Mattfeldt Avenue, between 6 p.m., Nov. 25 and 7:30 a.m., Nov. 26. A bag containing clothes and books were stolen from a 2010 Honda Odyssey.
Larceny Other: 3500 block of Old York Road, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., Nov. 26. Two trashcans were stolen from the backyard.
Burglary Residential: 700 block of E. 37th Street, between 6:30 and 6:35 p.m., Nov. 29. A burglar entered the house through a rear window and stole a PlayStation 3 and a 32-inch television.
Waverly Main Street
Larceny Shoplifting: 3200 block of Greenmount Avenue, between 5 and 7 p.m., Nov. 27. A shoplifter stole a phone from Boost Mobile.
Larceny Other: 4300 block of York Road, 3 a.m., Nov. 25. A woman left her purse unattended when she went to the bathroom. When she came back it was gone.
Burglary Residential: 700 block of McCabe Avenue, between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., Nov. 26. A burglar entered a home through an unlocked back door and stole a 61 -inch television, a PlayStation3 and $600.
Burglary Residential: 600 block Woodbourne Avenue, between noon, Nov. 26 and 1:17 p.m., Nov. 28. A burglar broke in through a side window, damaged the dry wall and stole copper piping and tools.
Larceny from Auto: 700 block of Berry Street, between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., Nov. 26. A Magellan GPS; an iPAD; diamond ring; four Polo shirts; a Polo fleece and a box of Suboxone were stolen from a white 2008 Nissan Altima.

Are these the infamous ObamaPhones? Or are these phones the woman was, as a government employee, ready to distribute to or collected from other government employees? Wee these a part of her job?
If they were ObamaPhones then they could have gotten their own being unemployed and of the correct social status.
There is one other possibility. The woman in possession of the phones was acquiring these ObamaPhones free using different names possibly by fraud and identity theft.
Did she also possess any credit cards not in her own name?

Thanks be to God that they are now on foot patrol on waverly streets instead of sitting in their cars probably doing whatever. We need them to go a block off greenmount in waverly else they will just get away with stuff. at least they are within a scream now. Most of it is going on on Old York...but we aren't the business owners...so screw us *L*
