North Baltimore Crime: Evergreen Royal Farms Robbed

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Evergreen

Armed Robbery Commercial: 200-block West Cold Spring Lane, 10:30 p.m., Feb. 1. A robber walked into the Royal Farms store, asked for a pack of Newport cigarettes and when the clerk put them on the counter, pulled out a silver handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The robber then ran off in an unknown direction.

Larceny from Auto: 700 block West 33rd Street, between 2 a.m. and 9:45 a.m., Jan. 29. A Tom Tom GPS, LG cell phone and debit cards were stolen from a 2003 Volkswagen Pasat.

Stolen Auto: 700-block West 40th Street, between 10:45 and 11:06 a.m., Jan 30. A woman left her 2000 Toyota Camry parked in a lot, and when she returned it was missing. Video surveillance showed the car leaving but didn’t provide a view of the driver.

Burglary Residential: 3900 block Roland Avenue, between 6 p.m. Feb 2 and 8 a.m. Feb. 3. A burglar entered through a side door and stole $695 worth of copper fittings, electrical breakers and breaker fittings.

Charles Village

Larceny from Auto: 3200 block North Calvert Street, 4:30 a.m., Jan 29. A Garmin GPS, charger, CD, Gatorade and peanuts were stolen from an unlocked 2005 Toyota. 

Larceny from Auto: unit block Art Museum Drive, between 10:15 a.m. and 12:50 p.m., Jan. 30.  A thief stole a Garmin GPS unit after breaking the window of a 2005 Chrysler.

Winston-Govans

Stolen Auto: 5100-block York Road, 3:56 a.m., Jan. 29. Car thieves stole a white 2004 Chevy Malibu that was left unlocked and running.

Oakenshawe

Burglary Residential: 400 block Calvin Avenue, between 10 a.m. and 1:40 p.m., Jan. 30.  A burglar, possibly using a key, entered the home and stole a laptop and a camera.

Guilford

Larceny from Auto: 3900 block Greenmount Avenue. Between 3 and 6 p.m., Jan 31.  A thief smashed the window of a 2003 Mini Cooper and stole a handicap placard.

Woodberry

Burglary Commercial: 200-block West 41st Street, 11:26 p.m., Jan 31. A burglar attempted to break into by prying a rear window open. The person responsible ran off in an unknown direction.

Larceny: 1700 block Union Avenue, between 5:30 p.m., Jan 31 and 4:30 a.m., Feb. 2. Someone cut the pipes to the building and stole an HVAC unit.

Bellona-Gittings

Stolen Auto: unit block Gittings Avenue, between 9 p.m., Feb. 2 and 7:45 a.m., Feb. 3. A silver 2007 Toyota 4 Runner was stolen.

Homeland

Stolen Auto: 5300-block York Road, 7:39 p.m., Feb 2. A 2007 Honda CRV was stolen and the keys were left in the vehicle.
