North Baltimore Crime: Larceny From Auto Vexes Area

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore City Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Larceny from Auto: 400 block of East 32nd Street, between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Aug. 1.  The window of a 2001 Inifiniti was broken and a handicap placard was stolen.

Stolen Auto: 2500 block of Howard Street, 2 a.m., Aug. 1. An unknown brand of scotter was stolen.

Larceny from Auto: 5900 block of York Road, between noon and 1 p.m., Aug. 1. The window of a 2002 Toyota was busted out and a purse, wallet, bank and credit cards were stolen.

Evergreen

Burglary Commercial: 200 block of West Cold Spring Lane, 12:49 a.m., Aug. 2 Two burglars pried open the side doors and cut the phone lines but left the Royal Farms Store without taking anything.  

Guilford

Larceny from Auto: 4600 block of York Road, between noon and 6:30 p.m., July 29. The window of a 2003 Toyota was left open and $100, checks, IDs and a wallet were stolen.

Larceny from Auto: 3600 block of St. Paul Street, between 6:15 a.m. and 3:20 p.m., Aug. 1. The window of a 2004 Ford was busted out and a Garmin GPS, a gift card, a wallet, license and cash were stolen.

Larceny from Auto: 3600 block of St. Paul Street, between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., Aug. 1. The window of a 2004 Ford was broken and a TomTom GPS and a glazing work kit were stolen.

Hampden

Larceny from Auto: 1200 block of Union Avenue, between Midnight and 5 a.m., July 30. Two laptops were stolen from a 2003 Honda that does not have locking doors.

Larceny from Auto: 1000 block of West 38th Street, between 5 p.m., July 30 and 2 p.m., July 31. A handicap placard was stolen from a black 2007 Saturn.

Robbery Unarmed: 3700 block of Chestnut Avenue, 12:30 p.m., July 30. A woman drove two acquaintances to pick up some medication. When they returned they grabbed her by the neck and took the medication and $150.

Larceny from Auto: 2700 block of Hampden Avenue, between 11 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., Aug. 2. The window of a 2012 Jeep was broken with a rock and $2,500 was taken from inside.

Hoes Heights

Stolen Auto: 4300 block Evans Chapel Road, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., Aug. 1. A red 2011 TaoTao moped was stolen.

Homeland

Larceny from Auto: 5700 block of Bellona Avenue, between 11 p.m., July 29 and 8 a.m., July 30.  Two hammer jacks, two blowers and a Maryland tag were stolen from a 2000 Toyota truck.

Larceny from Auto: 5400 block of Springlake Way, between 10 and 10:18 a.m., July 30. The window of a 2004 Toyota was broken and a diaper bag, Garmin GPS and two bags with music items were stolen.

Medfield

Larceny from Auto: 4200 block of Clydesdale Avenue, between 9 p.m., July 30 and 8 a.m., July 31. The window of a 2000 Ford truck was broken and various medications, a Garmin GPS, a bag full of hand tools, a leather jacket and a handicap placard were stolen.

Mt. Washington

Larceny from Auto: 2100 block of Sulgrave Avenue, between 5 p.m., July 29 and 1 a.m., July 30.  Registration and insurance cards were stolen from an unlocked 1995 GEO.

Larceny from Auto: 2400 block of Crest Road, between 5:25 p.m., July 29 and 5:30 a.m., July 30. A debit card, license, speaker system and Social Secutiry card were stolen from an unlocked 2005 Dodge.

North Roland Park/Poplar Hill

Larceny from Auto: 1100 block of West Northern Parkway, between 9:20 and 10:51 p.m., July 30. Keys were stolen from a blue 1999 Saturn.

Stolen Auto: 1100 block of West Northern Parkway, between 6 p.m., Aug1 and noon, Aug. 2. A green 1999 Dodge Stratus was stolen.   

Remington

Burglary Residential: 300 block of West 31st Street, between 1:15 and 7:20 p.m., July 31. A burglar forced open a rear sliding door and stole a bike, television, camera, Kindle, iPod and various tools.

Roland Park

Larceny from Auto: 4800 block of Roland Avenue, between 5 p.m., July 30 and 5:45 a.m., July 31. The window of a 2001 silver Subaru Legacy was busted out and a Garmin GPS, Apple iPad and an Allenware laptop were stolen.

Larceny from Auto: 5100 block of Roland Avenue, between 6 and 8 p.m., Aug. 1. The window of a 2007 GMC truck was broken and a Garmin GPS was stolen.

Tuscany-Canterbury

Larceny from Auto: 200 block of East University Parkway, between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., July 31. The window of a silver 2001 Honda Odyssey was broken and a handicap placard stolen.

Larceny from Auto: 3800 block of North Charles Street, between 2:30 and 4:20 p.m., Aug. 3. A Magellan GPS, iPod, charger and jacket were stolen from a 2005 Honda that had its window broken.

Waverly

Robbery Unarmed: 3300 block of Greenmount Avenue, 4:18 p.m., Aug. 3. A woman was standing at a bus stop when a robber demanded her phone. The robber grabbed the phone and a struggle ensued. The robber was eventually able to take the phone and ran away heading west.

Woodberry

Larceny from Auto: 3600 block of Clipper Mill Road, between 4:30 and 5 p.m., July 30. The window of a blue 2010 Subaru Forrester was busted out and a Garmin GPS, a Coach purse, a debit card, a driver’s license and two bottles of medicine were stolen.
