North Baltimore Crime: Man Robbed at Knifepoint in Hampden Alley

Armed Robbery: Cairnes Lane, 3600 block, 3:15 p.m. Dec. 18. After getting out of an unknown vehicle, three robbers approached a man in the alley. One of the robbers pulled out a knife while another grabbed the man’s arms. The robber with the knife told the man: “Give me all you got” while holding the knife to the man’s neck. The third robber then went through the man’s pockets and pulled out a cell phone and $243 in cash. The robbers then broke the man’s cell phone and jumped in a vehicle and drove away, police said.
Armed Robbery: Hickory Avenue, 3700 block, 10:50 a.m. Dec. 19. An employee at Payless Shoe Store was walking to deposit money when two robbers approached her. One of the robbers told the employee he had a handgun and told her to hand over the bag. The employee complied and the suspects ran off, police said.
Attempted Burglary: North Calvert Street, 2800 block, midnight Dec. 20. Someone kicked the door in an attempt to get into the house, police said.
Burglary: East 30th Street, 300 block, between 11:30 a.m. and 4:14 p.m. Dec. 19. A burglar entered the home through a possibly unlocked rear door and stole various items, including an Apple laptop, a 26-inch Toshiba television and a Canon digital camera, police said.
