Roland Avenue, 5100 block, 6:47 p.m., Sept. 28. An employee of Falcon Express was loading bank bags containing personal documents when a robber approached with a weapon in hand, police said. The robber said “Give it to me. Don’t anybody move.” The employee complied and the robber ran to a car with a bag and drove away.
Huntingdon Avenue, 2900 block, 10:30 a.m., Sept. 25. A man came into the Remington Grocery & Deli and tried to purchase an item. When he said he didn’t want the item, an employee went to return the item. The man then tried to open the cash register but was unsuccessful, police said. The employee tried to stop the man and was shoved before man ran off.
East 27th Street, 500 block, 2:30 a.m., Sept. 25. A taxi picked up a man in Dundalk and was directed to take him to 27th Street. Once at the destination, the man put what the driver believed to be a knife to his throat and demanded money, police said. The driver handed over more than $61 and a cell phone before the robber ran away.
West Cold Spring Lane, 200 block, 11:15 a.m., Sept. 28. A robber entered the Royal Farms store holding a black handgun and told an employee, “Give it to me. Don’t anybody move.” The employee handed over $50 and the robber ran away, police said.
North Calvert Street, 3100 block, from 10 p.m. on Sept. 28 to 2 a.m., Sept. 29. A burglar entered a home and stole a Nikon Coolpix camera and ran out. Johns Hopkins University security stopped the burglar and recovered the camera, but released the suspect after getting his information, police said. So far police have been unable to locate the burglar.
West 25th Street, 100 block, 3:50 a.m. Sept. 29. A burglar was attempting to break into the second floor of the Rendezvous Lounge when he was spotted by police and arrested. Police said they recovered gloves, pry bars and bags at the scene.
