Ottobar Employee Beaten and Robbed

The woman was working as a parking attendant when she was attacked.

A female employee was robbed and beaten in the lot behind The Ottobar earlier this month.

The employee was sitting outback of the establishment, located in the 2500 block of Howard Street, working as a parking attendant at 10:45 p.m. on July 6, when she was approached by robbers, according to a police report.

One of the robbers pulled out a black handgun and demanded money. When she refused they beat her, stole her cell phone and then ran off in an unknown direction.

Another crime in Charles Village. Isn't it time for the CVCBD to start hiring the off-duty police? Besides the heat with people staying inside of their homes, pretty soon we will all have to suffer staying inside because of the crime. For other views about the CVCBD check out "other voices from charles village" a blog site to educate the public on the errors of having a Benefits District.
