Police: Attempted Carjacking on Cold Spring Lane
A similar incident was reported last week near Mt. Washington.
A carjacker attempted to steal a car near the intersection of York Road and Cold Spring Lane and failed.
A man was stopped at a light in the 500 block of East Cold Spring Lane at 12:40 a.m., on June 24 when the carjacker reached into the vehicle and tried to open the door, but couldn’t because it was locked, according to a police report.
The owner of the car then drove away west on Cold Spring Lane and called Baltimore City police to report the incident.
A similar incident was reported last week when unarmed carjackers stole a car from a woman on Northern Parkway near Mount Washington.
