Police Identify PNC Robbery Suspect

The robbery occurred at a PNC location that is housed inside a Towson Giant supermarket.

Baltimore County police have arrested a man in connection with a Friday morning robbery that took place at a PNC back located inside a Towson Giant supermarket.

Jonathan David Bailey, 27, was charged with robbery, theft under $1,000 and resisting arrest, said police spokeswoman Elise Armacost in an email. Bailey, who has no fixed address, is being held on a $200,000 bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Towson police Capt. Jonathan Trentzsch said Friday that a robber was arrested after implying possession of a gun, stealing cash from the PNC branch and then fleeing past the county line into the city.

Armacost wrote that the branch manager told police the robber presented her with a note threatening harm if she didn't give him money. The manager turned over an undisclosed amount of cash.

Congratulations to the Baltimore County Police Department for a job well done. Nobody hurt and hopefully this threat to society will go away for a long time.

I expect this guy will be back on the streets in no time. Remember the young man who played the guitar for money in the 700 block of York Road who had his hand broken and was robbed of a little over $2.00? The guy who broke his hand was arrested, bail set for $100,000, reduced to $25,000 and now he's back in Towson at one of his old haunts. He's one bundle of hate.

If people know who he is, I hope the police keep an eye on him along with the businesses he frequents. He sounds like he is a menace to society.

Another Baltimore City resident committing a crime in Baltimore County. Mr Baliey sure doesn't look too sorry in this photo. In fact, he looks a little defiant! Only hope is a bank robbery usually is a federal crime. Maybe the Feds will put him in jail for a while.
