Police: Robber Stabs Man in Neck

The robber was reportedly attempting to steal a cellphone.

A man was stabbed in the neck in Harwood when he told a robber that he didn’t have a cellphone.

According to police, at 4:18 p.m., Jan. 29, a man was walking in the 2500 block of Barclay Street when a robber approached and demanded his cellphone.

The man told the robber that he didn’t have one. That’s when the robber, who was armed with a knife, stabbed the man in the neck.

The robber stole $30 from the man and then took off running.

The man was treated for his wounds at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
