A knife-wielding subject stole an unknown amount of money and cigarettes from the Remington 7-Eleven.
According to a police report, at 3:34 a.m., Jan. 2 a robber, armed with a knife, walked into the store in the 200 block of W. 28th Street, forced its way behind the counter and demanded an employee open the register.
The employee complied and the robber stole cash and Newport cigarettes before running out of the store headed west.

Thank you number9dream. The ignorance in this city is unbelievable sometimes. And the sheer racism that people have. Wow.

If I worked at that 7-11 I would have a shotgun under the counter and take no bs. The guys that run this particular store allow every bum, homeless person, and junkie for miles around to hang out in front of their store at all hours and wonder why they get robbed. I have said something to the people working there on more than one occasion that the bums hanging out front (some of them are very persistent, rude, and appear generally dangerous) make me very uncomfortable and not want to shop there even though I live a block away. They have done nothing to run them off, even though they are literally killing their business. Until you run your shop right, you will have these kinds of issues.
