Anita Ward, owner of Roland Park Bakery, decided that after 27 years in the Roland Park Shopping Center, her bakery needed a location with a little more foot traffic. 

"I just wanted to be in more of a congested area, more people," Ward said.

Ward started looking to move out of the shopping center and found her new location, 3500 Chestnut Ave., this past October. She described the transition as a "little bumpy." 

"We're managing. I have smaller space than I had in the other store. It's going to work out. I'm managing," Ward said.
