Despite lousy weather, Baltimoreans still came out to support charities and their communities.

The brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity rode a stationary bicycle for 24 hours in an attempt to raise $1,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The fraternity members spent the night huddled in tents and taking half hour shifts riding a bike from noon on Friday until noon Saturday.

Driving rain also put a damper on the Mayor's Annual Spring Clean Up. But members of Loyola University Maryland community, the York Road Partnership and residents from along the corridor still came out to help spruce up the area.

"It's wet. It's cold, but we have high spirits — so it's great. We have a lot of great people out here today," York Road Partnership President Karen DeCamp said.
