Strong Thunderstorms in Baltimore's Forecast

The National Weather Service said severe thunderstorms are possible in Baltimore overnight.

I hope you didn't wash your car Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 100 percent chance of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and overnight.

The storms will be in the area around 4 p.m. and will linger in the area until about 4 a.m. on Saturday.

The National Weather Service has also issued a tornado watch for the area that will be in effect until about 9 p.m.

The forecast predicts the storms could include damaging winds and drop up to 2 inches of rain on the area.

But the storms are supposed to make way for a beautiful day with mostly sunny skies and a high temperature of about 77 degrees.
