Want to learn more about upgrading the energy efficiency of your home but don't know where to start? Help has arrived! Retrofit Baltimore, a program of the local nonprofit Civic Works, provides homeowners in Baltimore and the surrounding area with accurate information on home energy retrofits and even connects you with quality contractors to make the retrofit process as seamless as possible.
We will be holding a neighborhood energy meeting in Mt. Washington on Thursday, December 20th at 6:30pm at Baltimore Clayworks. This information session will clear up the common misconceptions regarding home energy retrofits, cover the benefits and financial incentives of making your home more energy efficient, and how Retrofit Baltimore can provide support and guidance for you through every step of the retrofit process.

More About Baltimore Clayworks
Baltimore Clayworks, located next to the Enoch Pratt Free Library (branch 21), is a nonprofit organization that aims to build community through art. The beautiful building is home to workshops, classes, community meetings, art exhibits and artist-run community service programs. Studios and kilns are available for artists' use, and all the classes are offered at low or no cost. The building can also be rented for private parties. The organization is very active within the community and hosts many interesting and inspiring events, so be sure to check the calendar regularly to see what it has in the (clay)works.
