The Interfaith Community of Roland Park, a group of 9 congregations, invites the community to a four week educational series about service programs in Baltimore City. The series began on Monday, June 11th with a program about “Breaking the Silence of Abuse” and will continue each Monday until July 2. Learn about Baltimore Station, a homeless shelter for veterans; My Sisters’ Circle, a mentoring program for girls; and Asylum Seekers Housing Network. The programs are from 7-8 p.m. at First Christian Church, 5802 Roland Ave., Baltimore, MD 21210. The events are free and open to the public.

This church is home to not just one, but five different congregations: the First Christian Church, Congregation Biet Tikvah, Mount Olivet Christian Church, St. Andrew's Christian Community, and The Gathering. Though the congregations are distinct and meet on different times and days, they do occasionally come together to work on community service and charity efforts that benefit the community as a whole.
