 . Susan Isaacs\niona rozeal brown\, one of the nation's most exciting ar
 tists\, created a theme after traveling to Japan in 2001.&nbsp\; Informe
 d by Ukiyo-E\, the fashionable genre painting also known as "pictures of
  the floating world\," brown's Asian cultural investigations and interpr
 etations offer profound commentaries about mimicry\, gender and construc
 tions of culture. The large scale installation features a selection of p
 aintings and prints as well as a new mural created exclusively for this 
 exhibition\, which will be completed in the gallery. The public is invit
 ed to an open studio to view the mural in progress. brown will aslo cond
 uct a workship with students of th New Song Academy\, a school that has 
 a long history of collaboration with Towson University.\nOpen Studio: Fe
