The entire community\, both businesses and residents were involved. It was so captivating\, I had to begin a similar event in Bucks County because of our art rich history and wealth of wonderful painters".\n \;The exhibition is an invitational\, meaning that the artists were selected from a handpicke d group of nationally acclaimed plein air painters by gallery owner Ho ward Cooperman\, that travel the country to participate in this type o f event.\n \;Larry Chestnut\, John Ennis\, Peter Hunt\, Ty Hodanish\ , Jo-Ann Osnoe\, and Anne Kullaf\, (all locals to New Hope PA) are amo ngst 30 artists that are from across the United States to participate in the four day event.\n \;The schedule of events include:\nThursda y July 26 - 8:00am - 6:00pm the artists arrive and begin to paint land scapes\, architecture\, river/canal scenes in New Hope. They will be p ainting Thursday\, Friday\, &\; Saturday\n \;Friday July 27 - 8:0 0am - 6:00pm the artists continue painting our town.\n \;Saturday Ju ly 28 - 1-3pm "Quick Draw" painting contest at the Parry Mansion Museu m located at the corners of Main &\; W. Ferry Streets. Watch as the artists engage in a fierce competition to finish a painting on the hi storic property in two hours. Immediately following\, the artwork will be carried to the Bucks County Gallery Located at 77 W. Bridge Street for judging and a "wet paint sale". If you fall in love with a painti ng as it is being created\, you are welcome to ask one of the gallery associates to assist in purchasing it on the spot.\n \;Saturday July 28 - 7-9pm a Preview Party and Cocktail Reception with the artists wi ll be hosted at Bucks County Gallery. Guests will have the opportunity to pre purchase freshly painted artwork prior to the general public r eception. All are invited to se e and purchase any of the art created during the event while meeting t he participating artists.\n \;You can request a favorite spot to b e painted by contacting the gallery.
