The March for the Animals is the Maryland SPCA's largest annual fundraiser for the homeless pets in their adoption center. This 1.5 mile walkathon is a great way for animal-lovers to support the MD SPCA's mission of helping pets and people. The day is full of great activities including: pet contests, an agility course, training classes, pet demonstrations and entertainment. All of the money raised goes toward saving more lives and caring for lost and homeless animals. All participants 18 and over are required to raise/donate a minimum of $40. This includes admission to the event, the goody bag, dog bandana and the 2013 March for the Animals t-shirt (while supplies last). Held rain or shine. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.
