Baltimore Resident Sara Robbins-Page Receives Massage Envy Spa Scholarship

Baltimore resident Sara Robbins-Page was awarded a $250 Massage Envy Spa Scholarship to help her acquire her Maryland State Massage Therapist License. Through a partnership with Baltimore School of Massage (BSOM), Massage Envy Spas in the Washington D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia region are supporting the education of local students and the growth of the industry. Robbins-Page is the 11th recipient of the regionally-based Massage Envy Spa Scholarship.

“Massage Envy Spa is awarding this scholarship to a very deserving young woman with an exciting future in massage therapy,” said Winston Moore, Regional Director of Therapist Development at Massage Envy Spa. “We are proud of our commitment to BSOM and to the high-quality massage therapy and spa professionals that they educate.”

Robbins-Page was selected by a panel of area Massage Envy Spa franchise owners to receive the scholarship after submitting a written essay and maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.5 for the seven and a half-month massage therapy course at BSOM.

Robbins-Page currently owns a successful online boutique selling artisan jewelry, and although she is passionate about her business, she has realized that something is missing. Robbins-Page claims she has found that massage therapy provides her with the ability to establish greater client connections through meaningful personal interactions. After she receives her Maryland State Massage Therapist License, Robbins-Page plans to deepen her skills in specialized techniques such as hot stone therapy.

“Through massage therapy I have discovered my passion for benefiting others. By improving clients’ health and well-being, I hope to make a meaningful difference in their lives,” said Robbins-Page.
