Legal Clincs at The Living Well Studio

We are delighted to host the JustAdvice® program which is a direct partnership with St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center and the Carey School of Law. This program provides low cost legal consultation to Baltimore residents. JustAdvice is an emerging University of Maryland School of Law public outreach initiative that provides 30-minute brief legal advice sessions for the working poor and middle class at various locations including The Living Well throughout Baltimore City.

Since its creation in June of 2009, JustAdvice℠ has providing legal advice on a broad range of legal issues including family law, housing, criminal, employment, expungement, insurance, elder law, tax, civil, and social security. JustAdvice® hosts two three-hour sessions each week. For only $10, customers receive up to 30 minutes with an experienced attorney to discuss their legal issue. During this meeting, customers can gain a better understanding of the legal issues they face and receive advice on how to proceed in order to resolve those issues.
The program’s goal is to increase access to justice within the Baltimore community by providing a low cost alternative for individuals in need of legal advice who do not qualify for Legal Aid, but may not have the resources to hire a private attorney. To schedule a session please contact JustAdvice@law.umaryland.edu or by phone at (410) 929-4809.
