School of Rock Baltimore Students Rock Out with Special Guest Professor

School of Rock Baltimore welcomes legendary bassist and vocalist for the band Spacehog and former husband of Liv Tyler, Royston Langdon, who will be holding a bass clinic and music insider Q&A with School of Rock Baltimore Students. The event takes place Tuesday, September 17, 2013 with the bass clinic from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and the music insider discussion Q&A from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Because of School of Rock's commitment to develop and nurture the next generation of rockers, famous musicians often will visit local schools and offer workshops.

Spacehog had a #1 hit with the song "In the Meantime" in 1996. Spacehog released a new album in April of this year and has a UK tour scheduled with the first stop on October 2, 2013. Through School of Rock's "Guest Professor Series," students have the opportunity to learn from and jam with some of music's most iconic names.

General Manager, Melody Easton, is excited to welcome Royston as School of Rock Baltimore's first Guest Professor.  By inspiring the world to rock on stage and in life, School of Rock transforms the lives of kids and adults through music.
