Appeal of Bail Bond Decision Postponed

The Board of Municipal Zoning Appeals delayed a decision on a proposed bail bond shop in Waverly.

An appeal of a decision by the Board of Municipal Zoning Appeals to allow a bail bond shop in Waverly has been postponed.

The community appeal was on the docket Tuesday afternoon, but the board postponed the hearing because previous cases before it ran too long.

The board approved a new bail bond shop on 32nd Street near Greenmount Avenue earlier this year. The Waverly Improvement Association opposes the approval.
