York Road Partnership Annual Fall Clean and Green

FALL CLEANING ON YORK ROAD

It’s that time of year again! Fall is here, and with it Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake’s Fall Cleanup on Saturday, October 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The York Road Partnership will be participating again this fall – with the support of AmeriCorps VISTA Maggie Porter whose year of service is dedicated to building capacity for this unique umbrella group that brings together neighborhoods across race and class lines. Join the York Road Partnership’s efforts to clean and beautify York Road.

We will meet on Saturday at 9 a.m. at 5104 York Road (Loyola’s campus safety building) and from there split into groups to plant pansies, pick up trash, and paint fire hydrants. It’s always a great time and truly brings neighbors together to improve the appearance of the York Road corridor.

For more information or to RSVP,  contact Maggie Porter at mporter@greaterhomewood.org

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
