Work at the piers and the cranes and towers were shaking. We are closed down waiting on inspectors to check everything out.

Jan Krejci I work on the 7th fl of a bldg in Harbor East. We freaked out (quietly), not sure quite what had happened; we evacuated down the stairwell & walked south on Exeter St. to the water. The harbor was sloshing! Hung out w/ a few hundred people for about 30 min and then I went back to work. Some coworkers went home.

Carol Berman Sitting at computer and lines on screen starting shaking. Am I having a stroke? No, that can't be causing the drinking glasses to shake :-) Explosion? Checked hot water heater in basement and that was ok. Looked outside and only saw neighbors outside in groups. Well ... this must be an earthquake !! A very long 20 seconds :-)

@MairZdoatz Was sitting in car in Aldi's parking lot. Was the weirdest thing I've ever felt. The car just started rocking like crazy.
