Rec Center Searches for Skates

Center accepting donations of new and gently used skates to continue to host summer skate nights.

The  is accepting donations of new or gently used skates. 

The skates will be used so the recreation center can continue to host skate nights this summer for teens and kids.

Those interested in donating skates can contact the recreation center at 410-396-6050.

The Roosevelt Recreation Council is also accepting monetary donations to help purchase skates.

The recreation center is one of the hubs of the Hampden neighborhood and hosts a varieity of activities, from community meetings to indoor soccer games.

Throughout the summer the rec center, which is operated by the Baltimore City Department of Parks and Recreation, hosts skate nights for teens and kids.
